Watch Hill Therapy

Kaitlyn Rippel, MA, LCSW
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children and adolescents experiencing the impacts of trauma, grief, loss, attachment wounds, anxiety and depression. I received my Master of Arts in Social Work, Policy and Practice from the University of Chicago.

I currently offer psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. My therapeutic approach is warm and direct with an emphasis on building clients’ understanding of their own strengths and agency. I believe healing is relational and contextual, affirming the unique set of identities you hold.

Together, we will work to understand, validate and eventually grow and change patterns in your life that you don’t find helpful to the life you want to live. With all of my clients, my first priority is to be a safe space and a trusted relationship. I utilize a blend of play therapy, distress tolerance skills, mind-body integration, and psycho-education in order to tailor therapy to your unique goals and needs.

My clinical background as a school social worker grew my competencies in working with trauma, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Working with children and adolescents with ASD who are also experiencing mental health challenges is a particular passion of mine.

Please reach out if you’d like to work together - I’m looking forward to meeting you!
